Chapter 1:
-A heat warning has been issued for parts of the Fraser Canyon as temperatures continue to scorch large portions of B.C. The weather alert from Environment Canada comes less than a day after the agency pulled a special weather statement about high temperatures for Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast.

-All eyes are on Helsinki, Finland, where US President Donald Trump is holding a high stakes meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
Chapter 3:
-The corpse flower is blossoming! It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for. The corpse flower, that has been dubbed Uncle Fester, started to stink last night. It will be at its stinkiest by 7am this morning.
Chapter 4:
-Premier John Horgan has an announcement and press conference at the Ironworkers Training Facility in Burnaby this morning. He is expected to announce new policy favouring union labour on public construction projects in BC. The Vancouver Sun's Vaughn Palmer is here with his take on the day's headlines.
Chapter 5:
-The rare ‘corpse flower’ on display at Vancouver’s Bloedel Conservatory has finally bloomed after six years! Rotting meat, dead bodies, garbage are some of the smells that apparently emanate from this flower. Paul Haysom is putting his nostrils to the test this morning!

-The pair has held a joint news conference on the heels of their ‘summit’ in Helsinki. Trump says he brought up the issue of Russian meddling in the US election.
Chapter 8:
-President Donald Trump didn’t push the subject of Russian meddling when he sat down with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Trump was asked whether he holds Russia accountable for the US election meddling in a question and answer session after the news conference.
Chapter 9:
-Get out the hats, sunscreen and beach towels because Inland highs in Metro Vancouver could reach 32 degrees today!

-The black woman who was questioned by a strata council member as to whether or not she had the right to use her own community pool is speaking out.
