Chapter 1:
-Environment Canada has ended the Heat Warning for Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley. While highs are forecast to reach 30 degrees inland today, they are to return to normals for the rest of the week and on the weekend.
Chapter 2:
-The long debated marijuana legalisation bill is now headed for royal assent, after passing the Senate 52-29 overnight. It means cannabis will become legal in 8-12 weeks. But what are the hurdles from here on in?
Chapter 3:
-A fresh report from Research Co has found an overwhelming number of British Columbians want a public inquiry to examine money laundering in casinos in BC. The poll shows supporters of all three major political parties support such a move. Almost half (48%) say they follow stories related to money laundering in the province’s casinos “closely” or “moderately closely”.
Chapter 4:
-The Agriculture Minister will announce today that the government will not immediately shut down 20 controversial open-net fish farms as demanded by environmentalists and some First Nations. The Province newspaper's Michael Smyth is here with his take on the day's headlines.
Chapter 5:
-The former head of Immigration and Customs Enforcement John Sandweg spoke exclusively to Global News US Correspondent Jackson Proskow, saying the children being ripped from their parents at the US-Mexico border, may never be reunited.
Chapter 6:
-Today is World Refugee Day. To mark the occasion, the Immigrant Services Society of BC has published the results of a survey, in which they spoke to over 300 refugee claimants, most of whom are awaiting asylum hearings in BC. It's quite a large sample size - that's 26% of all new adult refugee claimants who arrived in BC between October 2016 and December 2017.

-Yesterday, in a speech to the National Federation Of Independent Businesses, US President Donald Trump once again took aim at Canada, claiming that we go into the US, buy products, and “smuggle” them back into Canada because tariffs here are too high.
Chapter 8:
-Professional coaches and managers love to use the word maturity when talking about young players. What’s peculiar about sports is the question of maturity is placed on players who are not at an age most would consider mature yet are expected to be.
