Chapter 1:
-Someone in Coquitlam who had the extremely rare luck of winning the lottery has also been granted the rare privilege of remaining anonymous. The B-C Lottery Corporation says it's allowing the winner of a 30-million-dollar jackpot to keep their identity secret contrary to prize conditions due to "extraordinary circumstances.''
Chapter 2:
-Justin Trudeau hit back at Donald Trump with tariffs on imported American goods after Washington halted exemptions on exports to Canada. Canada, Mexico and the EU had been exempt from the 25% tariff on steel and the 10% tariff on aluminum. Ottawa’s decision to retaliate with $16.6 billion worth of trade tariffs on the US has been described by Foreign Minister Chrystia Freeland as the ‘strongest trade action Canada has taken in the postwar era”.
Chapter 3:
-The winner of BC’s largest lotto jackpot will remain anonymous. Whoever they are, this person bought the $30-million ticket at the IGA on Parkway Blvd in Coquitlam.
Chapter 4:

Chapter 5:
-The BC Liberals are calling on the provincial government to ensure information is available to voters on what their ridings will look like under the various proportional representation system proposed for B.C. On Wednesday, the three new electoral systems were proposed but none of them would come with maps to show the proposed electoral boundaries.
Chapter 6:
-And to think it was going to be a boring run to the NBA championship. You will never forget the dying seconds of game 1 between the Cavs and the Warriors.
Chapter 7:
-Yesterday morning an early morning fire near the Georgia Viaduct destroyed or damaged 4 homes. The blaze began in an empty house, but spread to the home next door. When firefighters opened the door, believing the resident was still inside, they came across a hoarding situation so bad they weren’t able to enter. Luckily, the resident was able to escape with the help of a neighbour. However - this got us wondering - how do firefighters deal with the homes of hoarders? If a home is too cluttered, will they not enter at all to save those who may still be inside?
Chapter 8:
-On Sunday, dozens of people will take part in the Canadian Walk For Veterans, to pay tribute to the men and women who’ve served our country and given the ultimate sacrifice. The walk takes place across eight Canadian cities; Vancouver’s will be held at Lafarge Lake in the heart of Coquitlam - and be hosted by Jon McComb!
Chapter 9:
-Canada has retaliated - slapping tariffs on US imports after Washington reneged on tariff exemptions on steel and aluminum for Canada.

On Wednesday, Natural Resources minister Jim Carr joined the Jon McComb show in the wake of news that the Trudeau government will buy the Kinder Morgan pipeline for $4.5 billion.
