It’s Groundhog Day but across North America the groundhogs are not coming to a consensus on the time of Spring.

Justin Trudeau, at a town hall meeting in Edmonton last night, once again declared the pipeline will be built.  At the same time, B.C. Premier John Horgan says he doesn’t understand why the Alberta government is threatening to sue British Columbia.

The UBCM is demanding that more be done to cool off the Vancouver housing market.  It’s been wild for too long and local’s are being pushed and priced out of the area.  Mayors and councillors have combined forces to push for four key policy shifts.

Shubenacadie Sam has made his prediction!  Nova Scotia’s Lucy the Lobster also predicted an early Spring. However, Pennsylvania's Punxsutawney Phil did see his shadow this morning, as did Ontario's Wiarton Willie.

Buying and installing solar panels on your roof just got a little bit easier thanks to Tesla.  Tesla has partnered with Home Depot and will start to teach their staff all the benefits of solar shingles and the installation process.  Tim Dickert has the tech report.

There still isn’t a day Jeff Buziak doesn’t think of his daughter Lindsay.  She was murdered 10 years ago, on Feb. 2, 2008.  Lindsay, a 24-year-old real estate agent, died in a second-floor bedroom of an empty house in Saanich, B.C.
