The gunman who opened fire on members of Congress as they practiced for a baseball charity game outside Washington, DC this morning, has died.

Witnesses report residents throwing babies and small children from 15th floor windows to people on the sidewalk as a 24-storey apartment tower in London went up in flames overnight.  At least 12 people are now confirmed dead.
