Elections BC begins counting the 180,000 absentee ballots in all 87 ridings today, and that count could be done by the end of the day.  However, in two close ridings, Courtenay-Comox and Vancouver-False Creek there will be a full recount of all ballots before the absentee ballots are tallied.   On election night, the Liberals won 43 seats - 2 better than then NDP but 1 short of a majority.  In Courtenay-Comox the NDP won by just 9 votes and in Maple Ridge-Mission the NDP won by 120, so it is possible the absentee count could change the final result.
