In a statement, Weaver says his party ran a campaign that puts people first.

“Our team holds this promise at its core as we proceed through these discussions.”

The negotiating team will include Weaver as chief negotiator, Sonia Furstenau, Lis Lilly, and Norman Spector as a consultant to the team.
