But one thing we should not expect in paperwork Clark says will be introduced Monday is a limit on campaign donations. And we're told not to expect any surprises. Clark says what we'll see in the bill is what government has already talked about or implemented.

Ride sharing will begin in B.C. by December. The provincial government has unveiled a framework that will finally allow Uber into British Columbia. Transportation Minister Todd Stone made the announcement at a news conference in downtown Vancouver, touting the change as a modernization of the taxi industry.

The RCMP Musical Ride is delightfully Canadian...however, this iconic piece of Canadiana has been tainted by yet another RCMP scandal. Riding major Sgt. Maj. Marc Godue has been reassigned over allegations that the abuses the horses.

An 88-page report from the Grizzly Bear Foundation says that grizzlies in our province are at a huge risk. The report makes 19 recommendations, including ending the provincially-sanctioned trophy hunt, which sees about 300 bears killed every year (out of an estimated total population of about 15,000 grizzly bears).

The provincial government has announced that ride-sharing services like Uber will be active by December.  But BC’s NDP leader sees today’s announcement as nothing more than a political move that will create chaos.  The Vancouver Sun's Vaughn Palmer is here with his take on the day's headlines.

Vancouver has joined the list of cities facing threats of violence against Jewish schools and facilities.  Vancouver Police confirm that the city’s Jewish Community Centre at 41st Avenue and Oak Street was evacuated on Tuesday night due to a bomb threat during a concert.  Investigators say the threat was called in around 9 p.m., but after clearing the building officers found no explosive devices.  Staff and guests were allowed back in shortly afterwards.
