A Vancouver restaurant is serving up seal meat, which many say is the equivalent of serving up cruelty.  Opponents are saying the seals are hunted inhumanely.

Did you know that B.C. is the only province in Canada that doesn’t have a poverty reduction plan?  That’s according to a report by the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives, which is out with a report on why the province needs one.  Even with B.C. being one of Canada’s wealthiest provinces, it actually has the second highest poverty rate in the country at 13.2 per cent.
