The president-elect is set to get a briefing on alleged Russian hacking into Democratic groups. The report was ordered by President Barack Obama, who was informed of its conclusions yesterday.

Round two of the City of Vancouver's attempt to distribute free salt to residents will go today from 8am to noon at 10 firehalls, with another distribution at 4pm if necessary. Yesterday's first attempt was a p-r disaster. Police were called to several firehalls when people waiting in line in the bitter cold became unruly. Several firehalls didn't have any salt for yesterday's 9am start time, because the salt had been delivered overnight and people jumped the gun and filled their buckets early. The City is telling residents to only fill one bucket today.
