Episode 422 - Chronic Pain with Lyndsay Soprano
This episode contains adult language and subject matter, and some listeners may be triggered by this content. Listener discretion is advised.
Life can pivot in a direction we never saw coming, and living with chronic pain takes more creativity and honesty than anyone prepares us for. The spontaneous drive or the evening out turns into a calculation of what it will cost us afterward, and how much of the following week we are willing to spend recovering from it.
The confusing contradiction of grieving the person we used to be and the gratitude we try to find every day for what we have left can isolate us from our friends and loved ones. When we share our journeys and become part of a community that empowers us, we can take back the pieces we lost in our pain story.
LYNDSAY SOPRANO
Lyndsay Soprano is a bold, unfiltered voice in the chronic pain and trauma recovery space—transforming unimaginable suffering into unstoppable advocacy. She’s the founder and host of Giving Pain Purpose (formerly known as The Pain Game Podcast), a raw and riveting show that dives into the realities of living in—and rising from—chronic pain, trauma, and invisible illness.
Diagnosed with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) in 2017—one of the most painful conditions on the McGill Pain Scale—Lyndsay is also a survivor of sexual, emotional, and physical abuse, infertility, depression, anxiety, and divorce. She’s walked through hell more than once—and set up a mic right in the middle of it.
Her mantra, “The only way out...is through,” isn’t just podcast fodder—it’s a way of life. After years lost to misdiagnoses and failed surgeries, she took healing into her own hands, choosing a trauma-informed, integrative approach that blends grit, grace, and humor.

Episode 421 - Mental Health and Mental Illness with Miriam Putnam
This episode contains adult subject matter and some listeners may be triggered by this content. Listener discretion is advised.
We journey into the heart of what it means to support our mental wellbeing, inviting us to explore mental illness with a sense of agency and possibility. We reflect on the many dimensions that shape our health, creating space to think beyond the usual conventions Western medicine has to offer.
We question longstanding mental illness models and reimagine what care could look like through a person-centered, holistic approach. Would mental health and mental illness still be worlds apart if we moved beyond labels and started exploring the empowering intersection of body, mind, and spirit?
MIRIAM PUTNAM
Miriam Putnam is a holistic mental health advocate, Board Certified Wellness Coach and Freedom from Stress Counselor who helps individuals reconnect with themselves and find balance in a fast-paced world.
After experiencing the loss of her mother within the traditional mental health system, Miriam searched for more compassionate approaches to healing. That journey led her into holistic wellness where she now helps others regulate stress, gain clarity and create more aligned lives.
With a legacy of innovators—her great-step grandmother was Amelia Earhart and her family founded Crayola Crayons and Putnam Publishing—Miriam blends tradition, curiosity and forward-thinking approaches to mental well-being.

Episode 420 - Trusting Forward with Antonia Daniek
This episode contains adult subject matter and some listeners may be triggered by this content. Listener discretion is advised.
We usually want to know how a decision will turn out before we commit to it, but life does not really work that way. In an effort to be “logical” we often ignore our intuition or gut feeling, and go with the solution that makes sense to everyone else instead.
When we come back to ourselves and start trusting what we know, we tend to end up somewhere better than we were aiming for. Creating alongside others while staying aligned in who we are can then become something that enriches us and gives us a whole new layer of life experience.
ANTONIA DANIEK
Antonia Daniek is a mentor, speaker and creator of Source Dynamics whose work explores what becomes possible when we learn to trust ourselves, listen to our inner wisdom and co-create without losing who we are.
Raised in a Tibetan Buddhist community, Antonia has spent much of her life exploring the relationship between our inner world and how we meet life, change and one another. Today, she brings together more than 16 years of coaching and entrepreneurship with a lifelong practice of contemplation, intuition and listening to what wants to emerge.
At the heart of her work is an invitation to Trust Forward: to take the next step without needing to know the whole path, become more fully ourselves, and learn to trust not only our own inner knowing, but also relationship, emergence and life itself.
Through her work, Antonia invites changemakers to explore new ways of being, relating and consciously co-creating—within themselves, with each other and with the living world.

Episode 419 - Know Yourself, Be Yourself with Patricia Lindner
From the outside our lives can look like what we set out to build, and on the inside, we have dimmed ourselves so far we hardly recognize who is left. We read another book, take another course, go deeper into the personal work, and yet the alignment we were promised keeps moving further away.
We are told that everything we need is already inside us, which is great to hear and no help at all when we cannot find it. Once we can see what has been standing in our way, the change we have circled for years stops being an idea and becomes the thing we actually do.
PATRICIA LINDNER
Patricia Lindner spent fifty years being chosen. Then she chose herself.
A Private Advisor, Retreat Host, and Speaker based in Bavaria, Germany, Patricia mastered the art of looking perfect: high-achiever, people-pleaser, quietly unraveling underneath. A professional once told her she was “incurable.” She didn’t believe him. She found her way home to herself in the south of France instead, and hasn’t stopped burning since.
Now she helps founders, leaders, and creatives stop performing and start living as themselves.
Know Yourself. Be Yourself. Express Yourself. Everything else will follow.

Episode 418 - The Warm Edge with Chen Lizra
This episode contains adult subject matter and some listeners may be triggered by this content. Listener discretion is advised.
Many of us reach the level we worked so hard for and still catch ourselves living with impostor syndrome, and the higher we climb, the stronger that fear can become. What we absorbed as children about how much space to take up travels with us into every room we enter as adults.
That inheritance appears in the conversations we avoid, in the higher salary we never ask for, and in the toll our health pays for staying silent. We do not have to wait for the world to feel safer before we take up more space, and can work with our bodies to build resilience and capacity any time.
CHEN LIZRA
Chen Lizra, the female founder of the Power of Somatic Intelligence, is a sought-after somatic transformational coach and TED Speaker, helping high achievers release what is blocking them, leading to inner alignment, nervous system regulation, and emotional mastery. Combining embodiment, somatics, and ancient wisdom, she developed a ground breaking method and delivers powerful results in 3-6 months. She intuitively uncovers ancestral somatic imprints to reprogram emotional blocks impacting performance.
She specializes in the Warm Edge - shifting tough conversations in an embodied way, adding softness to strength. Her TED Talk has captivated 13M viewers. Featured in The New York Times, Cosmopolitan, Oprah Daily, Women of Impact, Business Insider, CEO Weekly, and more. Winner of the Global Recognition Award 2024, and the 2025 Stevie Award as Coach of the Year in health and wellness. Chen helps her clients reclaim their voice through courage, truth, and honour.

We discuss the lived experience of navigating Lyme disease, sharing stories of loss, resilience, and the search for answers in the face of complex symptoms. Through personal and professional reflection, we connect with the challenges and triumphs faced along the journey toward healing and understanding.

Episode 416 - From A to Zen with Chris Bath
We explore the art of finding presence and meaning amid the fast-paced demands of modern life and share unique perspectives on how ideas around time, agency, and personal growth can be reimagined so that each of us can feel more grounded in who we are.
We ponder why our minds live in the past and future, and how simple, mindful shifts might transform the way we experience each day. New ways of thinking about self-compassion, the tension between ambition and authenticity, and those small practices that enrich our lives could be what realigns us with the present moment.
CHRIS BATH
Chris Bath is the author of AtoZen, a father, and a multifaceted leader whose background spans the fields of science, finance, and spirituality. Driven by a lifelong curiosity about the mechanics of the universe, he read Physics at Oxford University, later applying that analytical mindset to a high-stakes professional career defined by complexity and change.
Chris spent a decade in Mergers & Acquisitions at Rothschild & Co before transitioning into executive leadership. As CFO and later CEO of a family-owned healthcare business, he led a major organizational transformation that culminated in a successful sale to Goldman Sachs. In parallel to his corporate trajectory, Chris has maintained a dedicated spiritual practice for over 20 years.
A seasoned yogi currently studying to become a teacher, he created AtoZen to bridge the gap between high-pressure professional environments and mindful living. His work offers a practical toolkit for reconciling these seemingly contradictory worlds, providing a path through the demands of time and a return to the present moment.

Episode 415 - Is Sugar Addiction Real with Mike Collins
This episode contains adult subject matter and some listeners may be triggered by this content. Listener discretion is advised.
We reflect on our relationship with sugar and how it shapes our daily lives. It might be one of the more difficult things we do, but reconsidering what we may have always taken for granted about sweetness and self-care could become the key to change.
We navigate the surprising connections between sugar, emotional wellbeing, and the habits embedded in family traditions and might just find ourselves questioning the deeper behavioral patterns that lie beneath our daily choices. What could real freedom from sugar look and feel like?
MIKE COLLINS
Mike Collins believes sugar addiction is very real and not to be taken lightly. As a person in long-term recovery from substance use disorder for over forty years, he took a keen interest in what sugar was doing to him and his friends in early recovery.
After much research and experimentation, he quit sugar with the help of amazing mentors. He then raised two children sugar-free from the womb to six years old, and as they grew, he rewrote the rules for sugar and kids in childhood.
He takes his stewardship of SugarAddiction.com, SugarDetox.com, and QuitSugarSummit.com very seriously and aims to provide information and community for anyone wanting to curb or quit sugar.
Hundreds of thousands have read his book The Last Resort Sugar Detox, and tens of thousands have completed his online 30-Day Sugar Freedom Challenge.
