This week we complete the Manor Boxing Journeyman “Trinity” with a visit from Karl Sampson.

Karl made waves in 2022 with 3 wins on the bounce from the away corner, which quickly disrupted his fight schedule as no manager wants his prospect facing a journeyman with a penchant for winning. 

Still active after 28 bouts, we chat with Karl about his career to date and goals for the future.

Over the course of doing interviews for episodes of the Journeyman Cave the topic of mental health has often been raised, so we decided it would be worth taking a closer look at the subject.

Andy’s Man Club seemed like the ideal people to reach out to, so we invited Steve Fox from the Barnsley (Honeywell) branch onto the show, and he gladly accepted.

We discuss the history and formation of AMC; the continued stigma attached to mental health and men; how a typical session at AMC works; and how to find your nearest group.
