-          Special interview with Dan Severson, he’s running for Florida’s 19th congressional district - He was a Top Gun Fighter Pilot and served for 22 years in the Navy. After retiring from the Navy, he and his wife, Cathy Jo, moved to Minnesota. He served in the state house there and co-sponsored and secured the votes necessary to pass a concealed carry bill. He also ran for a few state wife and national offices. In 2014 he came within a percentage point of being the Secretary of State. In 2015, he and Cathy Jo moved back to Florida, this time to Cape Coral. Dan and Cathy Jo were planning on staying in retirement, but when district 19’s seat opened up, Dan felt the call to serve his country again.
