Jacque Ryal, the front woman of Electronic, Alternative Synth Duo Group RYAL, calls in to The Junk and Jam Hour to talk to Host Christopher Albert about the amazingly dynamic collaboration between her as a singer, songwriter and keyboardist - and her equally talented producer and songwriter Aaron Nevezie - who helped to push and challenge her into a new direction musically.
Together - it is Ryal’s core belief that music is the most inclusive art form - of which people listen to, dance to - and hopefully, give in to its spell!
While Jacque and Aaron are keeping busy writing, producing, recording and working on releasing as much music as possible - it means having to play fewer live shows – yet are eager to share their most recent tunes, including Awake Monroe, Watcher and their electric rendition of the 80's Pop Classic, Cars - which even Pop Dust has described her "blue-eyed, vocal delivery as [fresh, inventive] and haunting."
Jacque also shares some insight behind the lyrics and making of their music, including her struggles and past disappointments with depression, how writing music has been healing, her love for the synthesizer and setting alone time with it for practice, and how Ryal continue to challenge each other as one another' s cheerleaders -- and how they balance their personal lives and marriages around their projects
Enjoy this very raw interview, along their ethereal and poetic music.
