Especially during this year, 2020, we have felt a global, and certainly a national, sense of concern and also deep fear. Fear and faith cannot reside in the same mind, the same body -- when we have faith in our thinking and in our hearts, we have a unique kind of hope and belief that allows us a calm that is essential to recognize. Although I practice a religion that I was raised within, I was also raised within a home that promoted the study of all religions and beliefs; my parents raised me to engage in critical thinking in order to make decisions about what I believe.
I am so thankful to them for that child rearing practice.
What I realize is that so many people were not raised that way but instead they have either had a particular religion pushed upon them or had the antithesis touted. Either way, what science tells us clearly in the mind body medicine literature, is that our prognosis in life and through disease is enhanced powerfully when we have genuine faith -- in something beyond our mere mortal life.
I invite you come join me each week and we play, explore, share, and find peace -- right here.......
