Although this episode was recorded months ago, what I said in it still rings true to me in many ways: my love for family, the work I've had to do to get better at communicating, as well as the boundaries I have learned and the mentors who have led me.

I considered myself an introvert who didn't need people as much and that really made me see myself differently. I might even go as far as to say that nearly every bad decision I made that impeded the relationships in my life were as a result of how I saw myself.

With time, I am learning to let go of many of those bad habits. It still hurts when someone thinks I'm pretending or when I lose a friend, but it's no longer just about me; they too have a role to play in it. It takes two to tango, they say.

In this episode, I go on a rant about these facets of my relationship including:family, siblings, parents and mentors. I attempt to provide an answer to: "how do you find mentors?" Of course, I do a terrible job and go on a tangential rant which I chose to let be because I believe you'll find value in it. I also wonder if you have a best friend, because I talk about my buddy Tsi , and how high school was a major change for me. Plus, I 'd love to know if you think it's really possible to have a relationship with 5000 people on Facebook.

And even when I did, I let it sit in my computer for all this while, gathering digital dust. I feel the time has come for me to let the world know what I can do and to judge me for it.

This is just the beginning. I would love to get your feedback and suggestions.

It is in French, I will be posting another shortly in English.

They are the words of a mother, saying goodbye to her child. Probably because she ( the mother) will be taken away because of the war.

According to the author of this text, it is the image you see that prompted her to write that piece. That she felt connected to the baby.
