If you are looking for a more snack-oriented version of a drinking game, you could eat a cookie every time I say the words "fever dream" in this podcast (so sorry about that. Not sure what got into me). Today, I'm talking all things Y2K Kappa with uber Kappa volunteer, Tiffany Pannier Hortin '2004. Thanks to everyone who submitted questions and for tolerating my annoying voice for the next 45 minutes. Oh, and you might be the next person to be subjected to my inane questions in a future podcast. See if Tiff signed you up as tribute.

Whenever I listen to the "Smartless" podcast, I find myself getting irritated at the hosts for not asking intelligent questions or for seemingly knowing nothing about their (admittedly surprise) guests. Today I am channeling those hosts as I did very little research (currently known as "cyber-stalking") on my guest and I ask my share of Sean Hayes-caliber clueless questions (love him, but find he is better suited to the "Just Jack and Will" podcast. At least his co-host there is sweet to him).

If you can find a way to listen to the fantastic Charlie Bunch while muting me, please share. Even my parents said that they'd heard enough...and this was even before Charlie spoke. But, seriously, this was an incredible and inspiring interview, and I was so impressed by Charlie and her dedication to her Sisters and to Kappa. She is wonderful and left me feeling so proud of the legacy that she has given to KKG at Lawrence. Stay tuned until the end for a special surprise. You will not regret it.

What a honor it was to speak with one of our early Kappa sisters, an OG Zeta Epsilon legend…the great Susan Packard, class of 1987. 

Note: this was recorded on October 4th, 2023, at the very depths of the Chicago Bears’ ineptitude this season. They have since turned things around (a bit). Also, I wish I could have spent the entire episode on Susan’s trip to the Soviet Union. But instead I asked her nonsense about Muppets and regrettable hairstyles. Apologies. There’s a reason she’s an icon…and I’m just a Susan Packard stan.
