Raised in La Grange, IL (a western suburb of Chicago) Joe attended Lyons Township high school and went to Columbia College in Chicago. After college Joe moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. A resident Los Angeles today Joe’s been featured in several national TV commercials.
Today we talk about Joe’s recent mock post game press conferences he does from the point of view of a frustrated Chicago White Sox fan.
We also recap last month’s Art Deco Comedy Hour, which I produce. The show is a monthly stand up comedy showcase and features comedians from all over the world.

The American Legion’s Post 43 is located in the heart of Hollywood, CA Hollywood Post 43 is “part of the American Legion, the nation’s largest wartime veterans organization devoted to serving vets, youth and the community.” It’s also a great venue for live stand up comedy! Check us on May 18th!
Also in today’s episode, I clarify what I did during the time I was in the United States Navy. We also talk my journey living with the autoimmune diseases, Scleroderma and Sarcoidosis.
Living with scleraderma and sarcoidosis is a challenge I meet every day and my ability to find humor in it is one of the reasons I started doing stand up comedy. Finding humor in the challenges we face has helped me so much I want to share my story with you. That’s what this podcast is about so if you have yet to subscribe to The Karen Vasquez Show then please do!
