Keep It Real welcomes special guest Euphonique to the podcast. Producer, DJ, label boss, songwriter. Euphonique’s high energy system-shaking signature has been an integral part of the D&B landscape since she first emerged in 08.

With beats on some of the most respected labels including Hospital Records, Born On Road, Jungle Cakes, Ruffneck Ting, Dread Recordings, Audio Addict, Deep In The Jungle and Murky Digital. She has a string of number ones and top 10s under her belt as both an artist and owner of Subwoofah; a label that prides itself in nurturing the underdog and that launched the careers of a number of artists that are a constant in D&B today. A brand rooted in her hometown Manchester, Subwoofah was also a club night and an integral part of the local scene.

Welcome to Keep It Real...The podcast where we explore ways to navigate our own reality in a world of fake news, filters where falsehoods travel faster than the facts.

Born from Ruth Royall's instagram campaign last year to raise awareness and rebel against unrealistic beauty standards. The ‘Keep It Real’ campaign flooded instagram with positive images intended to spread the message that we are enough as we are. The drum and bass community rose to the challenge and joined Ruth by posting images of themselves with #keepitreal painted on their body.

In response to this outpouring of support and with a clear need to take the conversation further, Ruth has launched a podcast to keep the discussion going.

In this Episode I chat to Riya. Riya is a vocalist, songwriter and DJ. She's taken home the award for best drum and bass vocalist twice in a row. and her songwriting has really struck a chord with me and I wanted to find out more...
