Millicent Barnes is at a crossroads, ready to start a new life in Cortland, NY. All she needs to do is get on a bus. However, strange things start to happen to her. When she approaches the bus terminal clerk, he snaps at her, accusing her of having asked him the same question every 15 minutes--but Millicent swears that this was her first time meeting the clerk. Things get even stranger when she sees someone who looks just like her. It isn't long before Millicent finds herself at the end of her rope. "Mirror Image" is a classic Twilight Zone episode, and it's one of the creepiest of the entire series. In this Key of Imagination episode, we're going to be looking how how this episode highlights our relationship with rationality; we'll talk about why doppelgangers fascinate us; and I'll reveal my moment of awe.
