School is in and Professor Tyler educates Eric & Tucker on the value of the Church of Satan and what Eric calls "sex metal", while Eric teaches Tucker about the bible. Even though we spend half the episode laughing at Glen Danzig's looks, we also connect the dots between Iron Maiden and Roy Orbison via what we all agree is a solid album by Danzig.

A brand new season means a brand new topic for the Kill Power crew--and this time we're ranking our top ten favorite albums of ALL TIME. Eric starts things off with his 10th favorite, Devo's debut album, which he claims has the best cover song of all time on it. Tucker and Tyler try to connect the dots by relating Devo's sounds & subject matter to bands like Suicidal Tendencies and the B-52's. We'll see how long this episode stays up...

In 1987 the Minnesota Twins won their first World Series, Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a Prayer" was dominating the radio and Tyler's favorite movie of all time, the fantastic Mel Brooks Star Wars parody called Spaceballs, was released. We don't really have much to say about the movie other than quoting the entire script, but it's a fantastic comedy that holds up to repeat viewing. Thus concludes the first season of the Kill Power Hour--what's next?

With a running time equal to the girth of the prosthetic dick in its famous last scene, Paul Thomas Anderson's "Boogie Nights" left a lasting impression on young Eric. Mirroring the subject matter of LA's porn industry, this movie has its emotional up-and-downs. Above all, Boogie Nights has an amazing cast that deliver on their performances matched only by Anderson's direction. Tyler proves himself to be a person capable of empathy and was also the only one of us to know that Burt Reynolds is dead--good job, Tyler! Tucker also has one of the saddest prom stories I've ever heard--listen til the end.

Tucker's #1 favorite movie of all-time combines some of our favorite actors, a hell of a soundtrack, and some amazing visuals. While we're a bit torn on Bill Murray as a person vs. Bill Murray as an actor, we all agree that this is a pretty amazing film.

Eric becomes a Gerrick after having finally watched one of the lowest lows of Sylvester Stallone's career, 1986's Cobra. Tyler's 2nd favorite film doesn't really make much sense, but if you're only going to have two movies to watch for the first 15 years of your life, you could  come up with a lot worse. Get ready for 45 minutes of terrible Stallone impressions!

Eric drops his second favorite movie of all-time, the all-ages comedy & debut film by Paul Reubens and Tim Burton , Pee-Wee's Big Adventure. In addition to recapping our favorite lines we discover some very disturbing things about Tyler's health class. Note that this was recorded prior to Paul Reuben's passing--R.I.P.

The boys spend a good chunk of time recalling their favorite moments from Steve Martin's debut movie that transformed him from a popular stand-up comedian to a movie star. We must have recorded this one at the end of a long day because we sound tired. Did I mention that he hates these cans?

Tyler's third favorite movie of all time is a marker of Eddie Murphy's late-career comeback and a celebration of Rudy Ray Moore, the creator of Dolemite. Listen along as three white guys analyze the history of blaxploitation and sup-par karate stunts!

Eric puts forth his 3rd favorite movie of all-time, the meme-inspiring and workplace comedy  Office Space. Featuring some of the best character actors alongside Jennifer Aniston (supposedly a famous American actress), this film changes lives. The boys relate with their own stories from early employment, and If you've ever worked a day in your life, chances are you can relate, too.
