  • Acts 10: Book of Acts Bible Study for Beginners | The Disoriented Seeker by Elizabeth Demarest

Book of Acts Bible Study for Beginners | Acts 10 | The Disoriented Seeker by Elizabeth Demarest. Welcome to Day 10 of our 30-day journey through the Book of Acts, following 'This Is The Way', a devotional from Gateway Devotions. Today, we explore the theme, "The Disoriented Seeker," written by Elizabeth Demarest. This devotion reflects on how God meets us in our wandering and transforms us with His truth and love.

What You'll Learn in Today’s Video:
    - How the story of Saul’s conversion reveals God’s pursuit of disoriented seekers.
    - The transformative power of encountering Jesus personally.
    - How God uses our spiritual blindness to reorient us toward His purpose.
    Key Insights from Today’s Devotional:
    - God's Pursuit: Saul, blinded by ambition and hostility, was lovingly confronted and redirected by Jesus on the road to Damascus (Acts 9:3–6).
    - Transformative Encounters: Like Saul, we are seekers who are ultimately found and transformed by Christ's overwhelming grace.
    - God's Call: There is no calling without the Caller. Jesus Himself invites us to respond and follow Him into purpose and fulfillment.
    Practical Applications:
    1. Examine Your Search: Reflect on areas of your life where you feel aimless or unfulfilled. Invite Jesus to meet you there.
    2. Respond to God’s Call: Take time today to say yes to following Jesus, trusting Him to lead you into purpose.
    3. Share Your Testimony: Reflect on how God has pursued and transformed you. Share your story to encourage others.
    Personal Reflection:
    - Do you feel like a disoriented seeker longing for purpose? Take heart—Jesus is ready to meet you, just as He met Saul.
    - How does understanding God’s relentless pursuit of you deepen your trust in Him?
