  • Acts 3: Book of Acts Bible Study for Beginners | God's Math Equation By Callie Purtle

Book of Acts Bible Study for Beginners | Acts 3 | God's Math Equation By Callie Purtle. Welcome to Day 3 of our 30-day devotional, "Taking a Journey Through the Book of Acts." Today, we dive into the profound spiritual truths behind "God's Math Equation" – how devotion, communion, and addition can multiply your faith in the power of community and God's transformative work.

In this video, we’ll break down a simple equation that can profoundly shape your life, as illustrated in Acts 2:42-47. It's not about math, but a powerful invitation to go deeper in your relationship with God and each other. Watch as we explore:
    Key Takeaways:
    Devotion: Supernatural Commitment
True devotion to God means making Him the centre of your life. It’s not about fitting Him into your schedule, but placing Him above all your priorities. The early church modelled this by reorienting their lives around love, prayer, and fellowship.
    Communion: Supernatural Selflessness
The early believers lived out communion in a radical way by sharing everything with one another. This wasn’t just about communion during services but about being a part of the community with deep, selfless generosity, reflecting the heart of Jesus.
    Addition: Supernatural Increase
As a result of their devotion and communion, the Lord added to their number daily. It wasn’t flashy or formulaic – it was the natural outpouring of lives surrendered to Christ. The growth they experienced came from genuine faith and love.
Today's empowering prayer taken from the Empowering Prayers Podcast is called 'Embracing My Role in His Purpose.' It is written around the scripture of Judges 6:12: "When the angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon, he said, "The Lord is with you, mighty warrior."
