Donna candidly talks about painful family secrets and a most recent encounter that the Lord used to lift the heavy burdens from her heart.

As a strong believer in Christ, Donna is grateful to the Lord for the relational blessings in her life as a result of her discovery.

Donna Kay Harris was born in Chicago, Illinois. She was the third oldest child. She had one older sister, an older brother, and one younger brother.

Donna grew up in a non-Christian home. Although her mother was a single parent, nevertheless, Donna did have a relationship with her father. As a young child, Donna remembers her grandmother taking care of them.

Later in life, due to a job transfer, Donna moved to Houston, Texas. She was working as a branch manager in a financial institution.

Donna began attending a local church in Houston and made some great friends. In 2014, Donna had a major turn in her life. She was involved in a serious accident. It happened around the same time her mom passed. After enduring three hospitalizations, several surgeries for blood clots in the heart and brain, by God’s great grace, Donna continued to fully recover. However, the financial strain of it all got the best of her. Donna was later evicted and began sleeping in her car.

Eventually, the Lord made a way for Donna to get back on her feet. She secured a new apartment and a new position at a swim school.

Donna was never really close to her family and had minimal communication with them. She really only spoke to her Auntie Vickie periodically.

However, one day in 2017, her Auntie Vickie told her to join the ancestry website, 23andMe. She told her a lot of family members had joined it. At that time, Donna was the only one on her mom’s biological side. Years passed, Donna did not receive any matches until around 2023.

In this heart-stirring episode Reverent Ernest shares his life's journey with us and the powerful lessons the Lord has taught him along the way. He truly has a servant's heart! He has made, and is still making, a great impact in the kingdom of God!

The Lord has brought him through many painful experiences from an infant to an adult. He said those experiences that should have killed him just made him stronger.

Reverend Ernest Gaines is a six-generation sharecropper’s son from Oscar, Louisiana. He is the oldest of eleven children. Reverend Ernest recalls his early life, starting with his childhood in Louisiana. His father disowned him. When he was about four or five months old, his father tried to kill him. His relationship with his father for years was filled with pain and rejection. It was only by God’s grace when he moved away from his father’s house in the late 1960s to Vallejo, California to live with his grandmother. His grandmother was a Christian. They regularly attended church and Sunday school. This was a place made legendary to him as a child. Reverend Ernest graduated from Vallejo Senior High School and attended Solano, Napa Valley, and UC Davis Colleges. He is retired from Napa Valley College.

Reverend Ernest gave his life to Christ in 1997 and received his Certification of Ordination as a Deacon on July 3, 1998, from Liberty Missionary Baptist Church Vallejo, California. Reverend Ernest started the Brotherhood and Sisterhood Ministry and worked in the Finance Office.

Reverend Ernest resettled back to his roots in 2002 to Glynn, Louisiana where he attended Second Baptist Church and continued his work as a deacon.

He relocated back to California with his wife Lorraine pending her retirement.

Reverend Ernest became a licensed and ordained Minister and worked the Jail Ministry at Solano County Jail, Fairfield, California.

Reverend Ernest started attending Lift Bible College while at Mt Calvary M.B.C. working as a Minister with Pastor Fred Harper. He started the Good News Club, a weekly after school Christian program at Orange Grove Elementary School. He was also the Youth Director Minister and started a youth study group for members eighteen years of age and older at Mt Calvary M.B.C.

Reverend Ernest is the author of two books: Three W’s Tears of Pain and Joy and Three W’s How Strong Is Your Faith Through the Pain. Reverend Ernest also wrote "Get Up While It Still Hurts," an essay with ten authors who shared their stories of overcoming pain.

Reverend Ernest started a podcast utilizing YouTube and produced "The Cost," "He Will Never Forsake You," and "You choose."

Reverend Ernest and Lorraine have been married for 48 years. Through their union were four children. They have ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Reverend Ernest moved to Katy, Texas in September 2024 and is now a member of The Church Without Walls.

He is a faithful servant who God has called in His Kingdom, and he continues to be a witness and lead people to Christ.

In this powerful episode, Evangelist Tonette, candidly shares her testimony with us about her life of prayer as she faced bouts of depression and suicidal thoughts.

What do you do when you pray for other people and the Lord delivers them from depression, but you are severely depressed yourself?

What do you do when you go to church, dressed up, looking good on the outside, but on the inside and at home you are in a dark, dark place?

Evangelist Tonette McNeil was born in Robersonville, North Carolina. She is the only girl ​and second to the youngest of seven siblings. She started attending Holy Mission COGIC with her mom at the age of five. She remembers regularly attending noon prayer meetings where she witnessed many miracles.

She also remembers growing up in a strict religious environment. She was not allowed to wear pants. She could not take physical education classes, participate in sports, or play in the high school band because pants were required. She did not have a normal childhood. She was quite often picked on and bullied. She sought comfort through eating and was overweight. 

Evangelist Tonette was a very bright child and maintained the honor roll all throughout her school years. She received her college degree from Elizabeth City State University.

At the age of twenty-five, Evangelist Tonette, accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.

She joined Refreshing Spring COGIC and was a faithful member for years. She served in various capacities under the leadership of Bishop James E. Jordan, Jr.

On March 10, 2014, her mother’s birthday, the Lord birthed "Break Every Chain Prayer Line Ministry.” She believes the prayer mantle was passed on to her from her late mother, Mary Jenkins. Her spiritual mother, Apostle Delores Chatmon, has helped to cultivate the prayer mantle on her life.

Evangelist Tonette serves as the Prayer Chaplin for "In My Season's Women's Ministry.” She has conducted several in person prayer conferences that have brought attendees from various states. She has also hosted all night prayer shut ins.

During the Covid pandemic in 2020, God gave her a vision to start a 31 Days of Fasting and Prayer for the month of December. Five years later, people have joined the prayer line calls from all around the world.   

Evangelist Tonette is happily married to Minister Keith McNeil and mother to one son, Aaron McNeil.

One of her favorite scriptures is Mark 11:24: Therefore, I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. (KJV)

In this touching and powerful episode, Tonyia D. Titus shares her journey with us, while serving alongside her husband in ministry and dealing with silent depression.

She discusses several reasons and some of the things in marriages and ministry that lead to silent depression.

Tonyia D. Titus, a native of Washington, D. C., is the wife of Apostle Calvin Titus and the First Lady of House of Prayer Worship Center in Sumter, S.C.

She is a quiet storm, possesses a meek and humble spirit, and exemplifies holiness as a dedicated servant of God. Lady Tonyia is a woman of prayer, purpose, and perseverance, fulfilling God's divine plan for her life.

Lady Tonyia accepted the Lord at an early age, while attending church with her grandmother.  She enjoyed serving God's people as a pulpit attendant, at her home church, as well as, a server at conventions, an usher, a singer in the choir, and a  Sunday School teacher/secretary. She has also served as a part of the ministerial staff at the Refreshing Spring Church of God in Christ, under the leadership of Bishop James E. Jordan. Lady Tonyia cherishes working in the ministry alongside her husband. She believes in the scripture: "Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might" (Ecclesiastes 9:10a).

Lady Tonyia is also a podcast host on Women Inspirational Radio's When Queens Bounce Back. God has blessed her to be the founder of When Queens Talk It Out, an outlet that inspires women of all ages to share their stories—the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Lady Tonyia's mission is to tell her story and minister to others about her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

At the age of 5, Lady Tonyia was struck by a car, suffering head injuries, a broken right leg in three places, a ruptured spleen, and a ruptured left kidney. Despite the trauma and having only one kidney, she survived with a 50/50 chance.  She give  thanks for her praying grandmother and God's divine intervention.

Psalm 46:5: "God is within her; she will not be moved. God will help her when morning dawns." This verse beautifully encapsulates the strength and assurance that comes from faith. It's a powerful reminder of God's unwavering presence and support, especially in times of need.

In 2000, Pastor Mel relocated to Orlando, Florida, where he was instrumental in planting six churches and campuses. Recently, he served as the Lead Pastor of River City Church in St. Charles, Illinois, where he led with vision, compassion, and a heart for service.

Pastor Mel has more than 25 years of ministerial experience. He is a dynamic speaker, seasoned trainer, recording artist, author, and servant leader with a passion for empowering others. Specializing in ministerial leadership and family and marriage dynamics, Pastor Mel is committed to helping individuals, couples, and teams grow into stronger leaders, pastors, parents, and spouses.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Ministerial Leadership with a Minor in Pastoral Leadership from Southeastern University, a Master of Divinity, and a Doctor of Ministry in Preaching and Leading from Asbury Theological Seminary. In this wonderful exciting episode, we are encouraged in God’s Word, Psalm 67, and reminded of the many, many blessings we have as children of God.

We will unpack biblical truths from this text that are designed to teach us how to channel those blessings.

The psalmist brings joy to our hearts as he reminds us of the priestly blessing, the Aaronic Blessing that belongs to us as God’s covenantal people.

I love the beautiful attitude of the psalmist in this ancient prayer psalm.  It is one of selflessness as our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  It is not about him, but all about the Lord and His kingdom. What is our attitude and how do we view and appropriate the blessings from the Lord in our own little world?

Do we consume all the blessings on ourselves? Have we become a reservoir instead of a channel? 

How do we use our blessings to make a difference in a world filled with evil and injustices?

We share in this episode the Lord’s eternal spiritual purposes for blessing us, His people.

We believe and pray the Lord will bless our hearts, and help us all to do better in Jesus’ name, Amen.

In this power-packed episode, Michael shares his passion for his profession as he serves the marginalized and those with mental illness. He also shares about his most rewarding position -working with the homeless, under the bridge clients.

Michael explains the initial stabilization steps for a client. He also discusses the key elements to successful mental health treatment and therapy.

Michael addresses this question:

What does it really mean to be an advocate for the mentally ill clients? Michael shares his extensive knowledge and experience with us.

Michael DeClouet was born in Lafayette, Louisiana. He was raised in a Christian home in Carencro, Louisiana. He is the second oldest child. Michael grew up practicing the Catholic faith. As a young man, Michael would pray daily. He accepted the moral teachings of Catholicism and attended mass regularly on Sundays with his family. Michael surrendered his life to the Lord in high school. He is a devout Christian.

It was during Michael’s high school Sociology class he realized he wanted to work with people with mental illness. He pursued his college education, obtained an associate degree in behavioral science, and a bachelor’s degree in general studies.

Michael’s first job in the health care industry was in the medical records department. Shortly thereafter, he began to have patient contact. Michael developed a passion for working with people. He later secured a position in a psychiatric hospital working with children, adolescents, and adults. He later felt it was a better fit for him to work with adults with chemical dependency and mental illness, since he did not have any children.

Michael’s first job in the health care industry was in the medical records department. Shortly thereafter, he began to have patient contact. Michael developed a passion for working with people. He later secured a position in a psychiatric hospital working with children, adolescents, and adults. He later felt it was a better fit for him to work with adults with chemical dependency and mental illness, since he did not have any children.

Michael is currently working with patients diagnosed with infectious diseases and who are considered marginalized. He assists them with all the available resources and attempts to get these individuals adequate treatment and services.

Aside from Michael’s professional endeavors, Michael is deeply committed to giving back to his community. He engages in community outreach to bring knowledge and resources to the underprivileged. He also participates in church functions that bring about change in his local community.
