Hi and welcome to another special episode of the Kit & Krysta Podcast! Today, we are joined by another amazing guest - Gene Park. Gene is the games writer for The Washington Post and he has so much knowledge about the state of video game journalism and what the future will look like for games media. Gene also has a ridiculous amount of access, probably more than most game journalists to the inner workings of Nintendo so he shares some stories about what it's been like interviewing Nintendo developers and getting early access to the biggest Nintendo games. Gene is an incredible person who has shared so much about himself. We're huge fans of him and we hope you are too. Also in this episode, we finished Final Fantasy 16 and share our final thoughts on the ending, don't worry, no spoilers. We also dig into Nintendo's recent financials and share some light thoughts on the Pokemon Showcase. We wrap it all up with questions from our incredible Patreon community. Lots of good stuff coming up!

Hi and welcome to a very special episode of the Kit & Krysta Podcast. This week we have a super cool guest joining us. Producer Stephenie was integral to Nintendo Minute, producing, editing and filming nearly every episode. She's here in-studio to air all her grievances with us (just kidding) but she does have some really fun stories and even things WE don't know about. This is her Nintendo Minute "tell all" and let us tell you... it's juicy stuff. Also in this episode, we're still in our dabble phase with games so we have a big variety of stuff we're playing. We have a handful of news stories and a discussion around video game financials. We wrap it all up with some great questions from our Patreon community. Are you ready to hear all the secrets?

Hi and welcome to episode 76 of the Kit & Krysta Podcast! We have a very special guest today - Jeff Grubb! Jeff is at the center of a lot of Nintendo rumors and we've said before how we trust him because he truly has a different process, approach and sources when he shares information about unannounced stuff. We want to dig into this a bit more because Jeff has a tough job. Also, when we were at Nintendo, we were on the other side of these rumors so hearing about it from Jeff's perspective is really interesting. Also in this episode, we talk about the latest PS5 Pro rumors and the latest with the Dolphin emulator on Steam. We are juggling SO many games right now but it's great because who doesn't want tons of fun games to play. This week, we give you our latest progress on Final Fantasy 16, Viewfinder, Dordogne and Disney Illusion Island. We wrap it all up with a handful of questions from our wonderful Patreon family. We hope you enjoy this special episode!

Hello and welcome to episode 75 of the Kit & Krysta Podcast. Today we're going to dig into an interesting and potentially scary topic about preserving classic games. The Video Game Foundation published some very jarring data that almost 90% of classic games are unavailable to play. Let's take a look at this from the side of players, publishers and those trying to find ways to preserve these games. Are we too late and will some of these games disappear forever? Also in this episode, we tell a story about when Kit's life was almost ruined at San Diego Comic-Con. In our Never A Minute segment we let artificial intelligence take over the podcast and the results are shocking. We wrap it up with the latest news and answer questions from our wonderful Patreon community. It's all coming up right now.

Hello and welcome to episode 74 of the Kit & Krysta Podcast! This is a very special episode because we are finally back in person. It's so great to be back together again and back to Krysta's mom's house to record this podcast for you all after Kit was on vacation for a couple weeks. We have a jam-packed show today and we're going to kick it off with a fun storytime about some Nintendo Minute lore that you probably haven't heard of before. We finally make that big list of all the 2023 games we would like to play only to have reality set in and bring us to the sad realization that we literally CANNOT play all these games so we have to choose, and we're choosing right now. We talk about some of the games we are playing including Krysta's final thoughts on Ghost Trick after beating the game. In the news segment, we share our thoughts on the new Pokemon show "Beyond the Pokedex". Do we feel like this is like Nintendo Minute? We wrap it all up by answering some questions from our wonderful Patreon subscribers!

Hi and welcome back to another episode of the Kit & Krysta Podcast! Today we're thinking a lot about Pikmin since we've been playing the demo for Pikmin 4. We want to dig into a topic and explain to all you why Shigeru Miyamoto is so personally invested in Pikmin. He's really out there personally promoting the game but why is that? We've also been playing a lot of other games this summer. We're making some great progress in Final Fantasy 16 and we've been playing a few indie games like Dave the Diver on Steam and Ghost Trick. In our news section, we dig into Nintendo's involvement in the Microsoft FTC trial and talk about the unfortunate Niantic layoffs. We wrap it all up with questions from our awesome Patreon subscribers. This is also the last week that Kit is in Taiwan so the next time you see us, we will be reunited in person. What will happen? Who can say! Let's goooooo...
