By now the mixtapes were flowing like clockwork and one place I could thank was a record store in Peoria where I could find new releases cheap. My guess is these CDs came from a local radio station DJ needing beer money.

Moving back in with my grandmother wasn't a total loss, I had more time to focus on these mixtapes and a shorter commute.

Summer was now winding down which meant GenCon time! My first time back as a "civilian." It was like failing rehab.

The other half of July 1993 was mixed. My roommate got a new place without telling me but I did have a plus one for the upcoming Silder Wedding!

July 1993 was a hectic month. My first (and only) freelance D&D project was coming due, it was hotter than blazes and the car I used to commute broke down. All the freelance money was now spent by the latter. C'est la vie.

Summer still remains my favorite time of year but it was a little exhausting in 1993 as everyone was now imitating Beavis &  Butt-head, and often, not very well.

The Summer of 1993 was now under way to celebrate. Always great weather and feelings in the Midwest.

This mix starts off with a song that once played while cruising north on I-55 at night. It was so cool how "Unicorn" timed itself to the dashes in the center.

May 1993 was the turnaround month because I finally landed a permanent job with a clip art company in exciting Peoria, IL.
