Too often we take life for granted and sprint through our days without noticing the small miracles that happen. However, when we are reminded of our eventual demise, our consciousness wakes up to smell the proverbial roses. The Buddha once said, “Of all the footprints, that of the elephant is supreme. Similarly, of all mindfulness meditation, that on death is supreme.”
In this fourth episode of The Knower's Arc, Joey and Plern introduce you to death contemplation meditation and Plern shares her personal experience with loss before going into a guided meditation led by Ajahn Piyasilo.
In the last section of the podcast, Plern will introduce a simple exercise to help make you feel more alive.
