After a writer's strike killed off season 2, the Kooks are back for season 3, and this time things are..... the exact same? Your four favorite co-hosts update you on their lives, discuss their favorite song lyrics, and answer the age old question "Are cameras just expensive mirrors for the bourgeoisie?" The kooks discuss celebrity encounters, daylight savings, and saying goodnight as an adult. 

Just like nicotine, bell bottoms, and not circumcising your son, the Kooks are BACK! In what is quite possibly the most unorganized episode in modern American podcast history, the Kooks play popcorn, hitting on a wide array topics from driving with two feet to Cal’s retirement job. David’s segments suck, again, and Brion becomes a step-son to his mother, Andy.

A celebration ensues during episode 10 as the Kooks commemorate a podcasting milestone. David undercooks his burgers, Andy moves into his parents basement, and Brion survives another hangover. The boys discuss the laziest things they’ve ever done, Calvin Cares sets a World Record, and a seemingly endless number of Cuncels. Andy’s grab bag addresses Hatfield Meats, scrambled eggs, and license plates.

This episode of the Kooks, brought to you Tempurpedic, features 4 young men who are falling apart at the seams. Dave can’t do a pushup, Andy fights a mouse, and Brion breaks his toe. Patrick Mahomes saves the world and Madi Prewitt calls in to express her love for truck drivers. The boys discuss the craziest thing they’ve done to impress someone else, Calvin Cares Week 6, and a smattering of Cuncels. Andy’s Grab Bag has The Kooks recounting their worst nights of sleep.

Episode 8 of the Kooks Podcast features the biggest individual announcement in the history of the show. Brion gets adventurous while shaving, Cal describes what each Kook is non-elite at, and the Kooks get their first “official” sponsor. Calvin Cares gives to a Detroit Foodbank, Davey Cuncel continues his heater, and the boys take two voicemails from the listeners, both of which seem to be extensions of the pro-dairy propaganda machine. Andy’s grab bag is, again, littered with riveting topics.

Episode 7 of the Kooks features a smattering of topics, sure to leave you wishing you could have your time back. Andy mourns the loss of a C list celebrity, David needs a summer sausage, and Brion stans Carole Baskin. Cal continues his streak of unlistenable sports segments. Al from Albuquerque calls in for a Kooks Roast, and Calvin Cares takes on kindergarten classrooms in New Orleans. Andy’s Grab Bag leaves Calvin drinking bourbon on the air.

Episode 6 of The Kooks is a 90 minute party as the boys celebrate Andy and Dave’s academia success. Brion catches a student cheating, Dave sets the record straight on Kanye Peppers, and Cal produces his first sh*t segment. Andy’s Grab Bag touches on underwear, Tik Tok stardom, and bold-faced lies. Da Cuncel King goes after your father’s front yard, and Brion and Calvin get in on the Cuncel action. The boys answer a professional athlete’s voicemail and Calvin Cares takes aim at Junior Achievement USA.

The Kooks go off the rails in Episode 5 as the quarantine is melting their brains. Andy has residual nacho cheese, Cal races his mom, Brion can’t figure out big numbers and then tries to throw a Kiwi. Calvin Cares supports Operation Breakthrough, David’s golf honor code gets brought into question, and Andy is sick of the Garris Family. The boys get Cuncel happy.

The Kooks return to take back the Podcasting Throne a la Michael Jordan in 1995. The boys talk CoronaVirus, The Bachelor and recurring segment Heaven or Hell. Calvin pitches a problematic TV show, a caller begs for help as he prepares to meet his girlfriend’s parents, and Dave cuncels bad weather joggers. Andy’s Grab Bag gets hijacked by Tony the Tiger and #Dairy. Calvin commits to ‘Calvin Cares’ to build up positive Karma.
