In this episode of The Kulcha Podcast, we sit down with two ambitious and focused, 20 year old guys - CJ and Dylan.
We chop it up over a bong and a blunt and the conversation unravels itself as we touch on some very sensitive topics, hopes for the country and they even take they even take their chance to rehearse being podcasters by asking us a few questions.
It was shocking to learn though that at 20 years old, the guys are already victims of the pandemic which is toxic masculinity and simping. The topic comes up as the boys discuss the romance in their individual lives...or lack thereof.
Considering their youth and recent graduation from high school, Uno asks the duo right off the bat if they think/believe that high school/the education system is a scam, now that they are on the other side of a matric certificate and the options that exist for them now that they have obtained their matric certificates. One such option for one of the guys is Dance - CJ just wants to dance!!! He even takes his chance to pose the question "How many guys are confident enough to dance for their girl?". He also professes his idolisation for Channing Tatum as a dancer!
On the topic of role models, Dylan somehow segways into a discussion about conspiracy theories revolving around the death of Juice WRLD. They think he is still alive and he pulls out some mind-blasting evidence to substantiate his case.
The boys take their chance to switch the focus from them and on to us as they attempt to interview us in preparation for a potential career in podcasting on their own. The conversation leads to and ends on a political note as the inevitable question - "What are your hopes for the future of South Africa" pops up.
The chats are honest and wholesome and may leave you feeling warm and fuzzy inside, so roll up that blunt...get those munchies and listen to The Kulcha Podcast.
