Tina Tower

Tina started her first business at age 20 and by the time she hit 33 had built and sold 3 businesses, completed a degree, got married, had two children entered the challenging world of building a national franchise network which she built to 33 sites until it’s acquisition.

Tina has won multiple awards including the Telstra Australian Young Businesswoman of the Year in 2014 and been featured in the Financial Review, Sky Business and several books.
Halfway through a primary teaching degree she saw a gap in the private education market and created her own tutoring centre.
Finishing university two years later, Tina decided she loves being in business and could touch children's lives on a more individual level through her schooling readiness and primary tutoring centre than in a school.
As children were coming in from tutoring with mostly reading problems, Tina began to develop a school readiness program that was developed from a solid foundation and love of learning problems never occurred once at school.
This is where Begin Bright was born.

To fit around having a family, Tina began licensing the Begin Bright program in 2009 and converted to a franchise system in 2011.

In the 5 years of franchising, Tina built the nationwide network to 33 sites before the company was acquired by international education company, Cognition Education.

Tina is an eternal optimist and advocate for living life out loud. She is the mum of two young boys and serial entrepreneur defining her own life.

In the testament to living what you preach, Tina blends corporate capitalism and the hippy life, shunning the city life to live on an acreage north of Byron Bay to get the best of both worlds and encourages everyone to let their own light shine.

Clare's Story...
After my first nephew was born, I found a passion for photographing children. I started my photography business initially just doing shoots on the weekends while working full time in finance. My business thrived and I was so busy - just 16 months later, I quit my finances job to work in my photography business full time.

In 2013 I funded a trip to Kenya through my photography business, to raise awareness and money for the Suluhisho Trust. When I returned held two sold out exhibitions, supported by Ronan Keating.

In 2014 I created three online programmes in 12 months, specialising in child / family photography and created an additional full time income from those programmes. It blew my mind that this was possible to do, given they didn't exist 12 months earlier!

In 2015, I was featured in Amy Porterfield's "How to Create a 5 Figure Webinar" and in 2016 I wrote my first book, "The Art of Pricing for Family Photographers".

Learning how to photograph children completely changed the course of my life.

Now I am on a mission to show mums and women around the world that they can do the same.
