Stacey Fisher is the founder and brand strategist at The Brand Architect and co-founder of Minnow Designs
Stacey is a Brand Strategist who is dedicated to helping growing businesses think bigger, increase efficiency and stretch their dollar further.
A classically trained strategic marketer Stacey has a decade and a half of experience working across big, market leading consumer brands including Panadol, Campbell’s Soup, Nicabate, Helgas, Wonder White, HarperCollins publishers and finally, Bourke Street Bakery. It was there, whilst working directly alongside the irrepressible owners of one of Australia’s most iconic foodie destinations, that a passion for building start-ups was born. It has lead Stacey to pivot her model and changed up her own ‘why’. Her personal mission is to reduce the start-up failure rate through the democratisation of quality, big-picture, strategic marketing.
Early on, Stacey turned a lifelong love of words into a Media & Cultural Studies degree and after a short stint attempting to get the gist of agistment at the Rural Press accidentally won a scholarship to study Commerce in France. She learned almost no polite French but despite the vanishingly low price of red wine at the local Carrefour she finished top of her class.
Stacey now spend her days building the big brands of tomorrow, including her own growing businesses The Brand Architect & Minnow Designs. An e-commerce enthusiast Stacey sold her flourishing starter startup The Adorn Collective in 2016.
A contented resident of Balmain in Sydney’s Inner West, she’s a coffee tragic who still gets a kick out of riding the ferry under the bridge.
A passion for words, a love of photography and an affinity for the digital space makes Stacey an excellent Facebook friend.
The Brand Architect
You’re likely here because you are a proactive business owner looking to take your next big leap with confidence. Welcome. The Brand Architect are a group of business expansion specialists with a passion for product who are committed to building the big brands of tomorrow.
A team of corporate escapees, we’ve all owned a business (or four) of our own. We blend big business marketing experience with small business expertise. And because we’ve worked client side building brands end-to-end, we can tell our P&L’s from our balance sheets and our trade & export plans from our experiential.
When we founded The Brand Architect we were clear that everything we did was to be grounded in the values of simplicity and service. We were fed up with jargon and complexity, with agencies and gurus attempting to convince business owners that marketing was magic. It isn’t.
It is our fundamental belief that marketing is nothing more or less than a conversation with people who you can help. We believe that consistent profit growth comes from having mutually beneficial, mutually enjoyable conversations with your ideal customer in ways that suit you and the way you like to work.
Creators of the Business Backbone Builder workshop series, we work alongside business owners to create a roadmap for steady growth, fuelled by genuine connection with your ideal customer and an authentic point of difference vs your competition. We help to clear through the clutter and step-change business performance. We can help you too.
The team is selected based on intelligence, inappropriate sense of humour and commitment to excellence. We’ve never worked with anyone who doesn’t appreciate every single client and empathise with the hopeful, terrifying and exhilarating journey they are on and we never will.
We work flexibly across time zones and will always buy you a beer when you’re in Sydney.
