Four cases we've investigated. Four stories that didn't end when our original episodes did.

In this special The Last Clue True Crime Update, Kyle and Beth revisit four cases from our back catalog and examine the latest developments surrounding Christa Pike, Gerald Snider, Ryan "RJ" Davis and Jesse Mack Butler.

With Christa Pike's Tennessee execution scheduled for September 30, 2026, we examine the final days surrounding the death-row case and the continuing legal and clemency efforts.

We return to Duncan, Oklahoma, and the still-unsolved 1984 murder of Gerald Snider, a cold case we investigated during our two-part Season 3 series. More than four decades later, questions remain about the investigation, surviving evidence and whether modern forensic technology could provide new answers.

We also revisit the disappearance of 12-year-old Ryan "RJ" Davis near Chickasha, Oklahoma. RJ was found alive, but the investigation that followed resulted in serious criminal allegations and an expanding court case.

Finally, we return to Jesse Mack Butler and the controversial Stillwater, Oklahoma case we've followed since 2025, including his Youthful Offender status, the dismissal of his Oklahoma criminal case and questions surrounding what could happen next, including a new civil filing.

In Part Two of The Last Clue's investigation into the 1984 murder of Gerald Snider in Duncan, Oklahoma, we follow the disturbing leads, allegations, and alleged confessions that emerged after Gerald was found shot to death inside his running Jeep.

More than two years after the murder, investigators received an explosive tip involving Joey Petty and a person known as "Pineapple." Then came witness Vickie Peddycoart, who told police about Gerald's widow, Robbie Snider, her relationship with Paul Bryant, stolen satellite dishes at a Duncan body shop, and an alleged confession that Paul Bryant had killed Gerald.

But there is a major problem: despite the allegations, theories, and investigative leads, no one was prosecuted for Gerald Snider's murder.

The Medical Examiner documented a devastating shotgun wound to Gerald's neck, along with a separate incised wound to the neck. His Jeep was still running. The driver's door was open. Nothing obvious appeared to have been taken.

Was Gerald killed by someone he knew? Was someone hired to kill him? Did investigators miss the connection they needed?
