Different parts of the world function on different calendars, and one such calendar remains to be the Persian one. With the year 1401 reaching the mortal coil, a new century has dawned: the 15th century. The new century, which marks the beginning of so much more and the contemplation on what has came and went before.

Sometimes the needs of a joke outweighs the need of clarity. When a joke stares at one right in the eye, no matter how derivate or how repeated, its call needs to be answered. Even if that joke is as tired and overused as a number that every child from the age of 10 will snicker at, sometimes one gets to the episode with the number "69" on it, and has to just audible sigh: "Nice".

Insecurity is one ailment that resembles the mythical Hydra. For each head one cuts off, two more sprung out more resilient than before and more bloodthirsty than ever. The Hydra feeds on negativity and increases it tenfold. So when one's life is riddled with insecurity it grows harder and harder to escape its ever present claws. When one is down, the shadows of insecurity run high.

When a year passes in one's life, the prospect of reaching the end line becomes clearer. Though a birthday is a joyous occasion of celebrating the life that wasn't blown out for a full year, it is also a stark reminder that what remains is getting more scarce. So when a birthday is passed, it might have good consequences to lounge back and reflect on how one's life has been spent.

There are a lot of things, little and insignificant, that can add up to the amount best exemplified in a mythical mountain such as doom. When that tends to happen, it's easy for a week to pass by like nothing of significance was done but yet there happens to be an everlasting feeling of frustration and aggression. But as much as one tries to stay away, some things are inevitable.

The strict British nanny once told the world that the word "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" is used when one doesn't know what to speak of, and sometimes that is what happens to one. When a week is filled with apathy and a sense of uselessness, and there are a myriad of issues overwhelming every hour of every day; sometimes the best thing one can do is to say "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious".

To end a relationship can be an arduous task, filled with an unhealthy amount of emotions pouring in from all sides. But sometimes that outpour of emotion can lead to words that not only hurt, they scar. When words that were given in confidence are used to humiliate and attack; the result may not just be termination of a relationship, it may be termination of a friendship.

Education is a historically fundamental part of youth and early adulthood. You are enrolled in a school to learn the basics, and you enroll in a university to continue those basics. Ideally, this historically fundamental part is a mixture of hard work and enjoyment for following a passion or a desire; but as time and time shows the world is far from ideal.
