In this episode, I sit down (in person!) and talk with a friend who I've known since 2018, Siavash. We met each other through friends and acquaintances in our Art University, and hit it off with an obsession with certain movies and certain YouTube personalities. So we decide to discuss those YouTube personalities, an array of different movies, the end of 2021 and how the year was, and Siavash's battle with something that is usually reserved for people of older age.

When one's life goes through cycles of depression and mediocrity, it might be often hard to ponder what is coming and anticipate that with glee and joy. But life is nothing if not unpredictable. Sometimes, out of seemingly no plausible place, there will be an occasion where one will look forward to what is coming on. For once in a long time, one will look forward to the passage of time.

In a desire to dedicate a significant amount of time to one's favorite genre in filmmaking, it's good to orchestrate ways of integrating that genre into one's life for a full month. That may come as catching up on one's watch list, or organizing watch parties, or creating a self-inflicted challenge. This is the third option, this is "Western August in November".

The residual emotional turmoil of a situation piled on top of another one can result in apathy and misery, and it very well can cripple any working mind. So it might be fair for one's brain to try and look at some surface level desires and short term happiness goals to try and soothe the ache. To ignore the bad is foolish, to ignore the good is destructive.

Emotions are sometimes hard to keep under control. As life spins more out of control and insecurities and fears start to show their ugly heads, one's emotions start to wreak havoc on one's life. When these emotions get too rowdy, it seems like one's life is in dire need of a miracle, even one that would look like a disaster at first.

The world has changed no doubt, and there are many cries of a return to the world before the changes. As humanity slowly tries to return to that world, whether smartly or out of impatience, there's a sense of anxiety. When the world has been a locked down experience for a couple of years, is it odd to feel a bit of unease to leave that state fairly soon?

Sometimes, when the air is quiet and the desire is satiated; one can look up and dream on. One can dream of flying in the air, one can dream of living happily ever after, or one can dream of what they would do given the opportunity to do anything in the field they love. Sometimes, when the air is quiet and the desire is satiated, one can dream of that one project they'd give anything to create.

What will happen when one lives under the eyes of a repressive feeling that will crush many joys and desires at once through intimidation and years of subjugation? The results are never pretty, and often times maybe living in this state will create a monster of sorts. A giant behemoth of anxiety and frightfulness, sitting atop one's chest, looking down in one's eyes.

With the world moving at such a pace that no one man can get a hold of it, there's sometime a faint feeling in the air as one looks around and sees all that is done and all that is need to be done. That faint feeling can be quite devastating if left unchecked, and if checked it can bring a sense of shame to one. But why is that? Why does one feels shame when comes to grasp with overwhelmtion?

When one's accustomed to the feeling of despair, or resentment, or the simple broad concept of "unwell"; sometimes to feel good is somewhat of an unnerving experience. When life seems to be working well, and when everything is in order, sometimes one's brain tries hard to find irregularities (or in their absence, conjure them up out of nothing) just to bring that shine down and make everything the usual murky color.
