This week we first discussed a bit more about Guardian Games, the data we received in the TWAB with regards to what people thought was some type of cheating to allow Titans to keep winning every day. Hardlight got a bit of a change, but the catalyst keeps it a bit more viable still. They also talked more about changes coming in year 4 of Destiny 2. Seasons will stay as the model but content will stick around longer. Currencies might be seasonal but activities, quests & even some rewards will be available for longer times and wider places. Bounties have received a lot of flack recently for being the main focus of the game and they want to work on changing that. It's not exactly clear how it would happen but only time will tell. Season 13 (think Dec 2020) we might get to see bounty pick up in orbit. Next week they will be discussing Eververse which more and more is getting on everyone's nerves.

This week we got started talking about the IO bunker reveal and the Zavala cut scene we got as a Bunker Clear. Zavala talked with Rasputin a bit more openly than usual and we get a projection and wall lights showing the looming pyramid ships coming close. We speculate the order of events that will be coming to the world of Destiny 2. We also get into what Destiny Next Gen (Destiny 3) could look like with the new SSD capabilities. We do dive into the Grandmaster nightfall reveal later in the episode and our thoughts on how this does seem to be a misstep in a few ways both the timing of the reveal, lack of earlier communication, rewards being lackluster and more. On the podcast this week we have our guest, Man At Arms, and this episode may have a bit more language in it but its a great listen. We discuss the state of Trials with regards to cheating, rewards, meta weapons like Hard Light, and its Longevity. We also discussed the idea that is Bungie doing a better job with Destiny 2 since the departure from Activision. Seasons and activities right now are light for PvE and Trials isn't hitting. It's an odd time in Destiny for sure.

This week we have an awesome Artist in the Destiny Community, Brian Moncus art of https://www.brianmoncusart.com/.  We first discussed his journey as an artist and how he has grown to be one of the key Destiny Artists in this community. Then we spoke out the journey to The Fourth Horseman new exotic Shotgun. The trailer dropped to spoil any possible surprise, and then we got to the quest. It was rather grindy but its really tough to ask for epic exotic quests ALL the time from Bungie as they are stretched fairly thin. Do you want less quality or more filler content, its a tough call. After that we got into the discussion of where Trials of Osiris is at and thoughts about its various rewards, errors and so forth. Iron Banner comes next week but we don't have much more than a couple new bunkers in the coming weeks. Guess its still on the wait and see mentality unless you are really jumping heavy into Trials.

This week we were joined by a great guest and pretty hardcore Destiny player, Bobizard13 who is the other half of the great YT couple of LaurenZSide. We discussed the new Season of the Worthy Trailer, the Season 10 story with Rasputin possibly saving us from the Kamikaze Almighty ship, and arming of the Warmind. New PvE activity include new Seraph Tower Public Events, Seraph Bunkers and even Legendary Lost Sectors. Later in the Season we will see changes to Pinnacle Gear drops as we get ready for Grand Master Ordeals as a new Endgame Pursuit. Trials of Osiris Returns for PvP as the pinnacle activity, 3v3 Elim and Lighthouse Visits to match. Lots of Exotic Armor changes are coming along with a new power level of 1000/1010 for Powerful/Pinnacle Respectively. Looks to be another cool season and we are very curious where this season will take us.

This week we had so much news drop for what is coming in Destiny 2. Fractaline Donations were finished, we lit the beacon on Mercury and Trials of Osiris teaser trailer dropped about 10pm at night. 3v3 Elim Trials Connection based & card state match making, and through community feedback Artifact Power Level will NOT Affect PVP. Lots of positives here, the main thing needs to be good rewards and hopefully quick action on cheating. Then we get into the Director's Cut for Feb 2020 from Luke Smith. He discussed the changes they want to make for Seasons in Year 4 and the game world. And then of course the big topic is Retiring Weapons in Destiny and how long is the expriation date, and should exotics ever be included. Finally we cover sandbox changes about coming up for Season 10. Melee abilities and a few subclasses are getting reworked.
