With 3 in every 5 stay at home Moms considering or already running a home-based business these days, Jen was definitely not alone when she chose to make the leap and buy into Rodan & Fields. She still however felt that way. Mothering and working was not what she expected. She hoped to continue to move her career, worth and hourly pay forward at the same pace she was before kids. Finances were tight with her husband being a teacher and although she desired and tried for much more they just kept coming up short. Jen maintained her new sales position and R&F while working in a restaurant for a while longer than she anticipated and while she grew quite weary and fell into bed exhausted most nights, she continued calling on her faith in Gods timing to see her through. Which it did. She just recently made the leap into working 100% as Mom and when she can in her sales position – all while finally maintaining the income she hoped for with the hours she had left over after her family was cared for. Jens story is a huge inspiration in following your heart, bringing your head with you and trusting in God’s blessing over us Moms when we chose to put our families first.
