I knew the lessons of boundaries were forming deep roots in my life when I started to be able to respond instead of react in a tough situation. What I've learned is when you give the space for the other person to express themselves and really listen, you stop thinking only about yourself. Keep going, friend. Deeper connections are on the other side.
Space is a great boundary. Sometimes putting distance between you and a person or a situation that's not healthy for you is crucial to finding peace. Learn how to put the space necessary for your growth in place in today's episode.
The truth lies somewhere in the middle...I can thank an Instagram friend for that nugget. Boundaries work when we realize it's not just what we are seeing or believing that matters in relationships. It's about what both people are experiencing and coming to a common ground.
One of the greatest gifts I've learned on this personal development journey is that people are going to disappoint me. And 99.9% of the time, it was not about me.
Do you get in your head? Do you make things all about you? Next time you find yourself wanting to take something personally, ask yourself this question: How can I use this situation to ask tough questions to myself and grow from it?

How do we have tough conversations? Talking through things is not comfortable! (At least not at first.) But if you long to have deep and meaningful connections with your loved ones, this is a big part of that.
When a relationship is important to you, you have the responsibility to yourself and the other person to find the courage to have the hard talks.
And what I know on the other side of tough conversations is there is a really sweet community that can be built between two people (and multiple people) when you can have those conversations. And that's what makes it worth it.
Keeping boundaries is essential to a peaceful life. Not only for you but also for the people you desire to be in close connection with.
Boundaries are not selfish. They are extremely mature and actually help you love and understand others even more!
If you have trouble with saying no or hearing it, this episode is for you! I’ll make it as simple and as easy to implement as possible.
They are upon us! The Holidays. I love Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s. I love the sights, the sounds, the laughter, and all the sweets. But I also know the holidays are not the easiest sometimes.
On this week’s Monday Fire episode I’m giving you some tools to help you navigate the holidays without losing yourself in the process. Some of the best, most intentional times are ahead of you when you decide that you will start implementing the correct boundaries.
The dreams we have were laid on our heart by our Creator. He made us to dream, and shoot for the stars, and to think outside of the box.
Ever since I can remember, I have been a big dreamer. And I think most kids are when they’re little. But then life happens and somewhere along the way, the dreaming becomes less intensive, smaller, and sometimes for people, nonexistent.
If I were with you I would ask you, “What is your most audacious dream?” You would probably tell me something small. To which I would reply, “go bigger.” And we would have this exchange until I saw your face light up and heard the excitement and hope in your voice that maybe, just maybe, it’s not too late.
BUT, we need to put our dreams somewhere visible. We need to put all of them somewhere we see them every. single. day. until they have seeped into our hearts, our subconscious, and are literally being manifested by our faith and belief that God can do BIG things, at ANY time, and with ANYONE!!!
I challenge you to start writing all of the dreams you used to have, and the dreams you have now. Don’t limit yourself. Shoot for something crazy, imaginative, and beautiful. That is what life is. 💛
Personal growth and development can be scary. It feels daunting, and sometimes even unattainable. But, I promise, if you are ready to put in the work - you can experience tangible freedom, joy and peace.
It will take a mindshift, but I am here to help guide you through this journey. We can do this. YOU can do this.
