Alberta wants out. And after floor crossings, a Liberal majority nobody voted for, and a court decision that could delay the independence vote entirely — who can blame them?
Jason Lavigne, one of the loudest voices in the Alberta independence movement, joins the show to break down exactly where the movement stands, what the Friday court decision means, and what happens if the vote doesn’t go through.
Because here’s the question nobody in the independence movement wants to answer — if Alberta can’t leave, then what?
Albertans will still have to deal with a majority Liberal government pushing Bill C-8, C-9, C-22 and a social media ban that will turn Canada into a surveillance state. They’ll still have to deal with a uniparty that doesn’t represent them. They’ll still have to fight Ottawa from the inside.
And that’s exactly why Jason believes in what we’re building here — because whether Alberta stays or goes, Canadians need a new generation of leaders organized at the community level to fight back.
An Alberta separatist and a guy who wants to save Canada sitting at the same table. Different destinations. Same diagnosis.
Politicians are the problem. A new generation of leaders is the solution. It’s not too late for Canada — or Alberta.
