WWE's answer was to repackage Bradshaw as John "Bradshaw" Layfield and immediately push him into the main event. That resulted in a shockingly great brawl with Eddie Guerrero on this show.

We've also got Booker T vs. Undertaker, John Cena vs. Renee Dupree, and Rob Van Dam and Rey Mysterio vs. The Dudleys. Plus an opportunity to discuss some disastrous gimmicks, including Mordecai and Kenzo Suzuki.

It also takes place at a fascinating and tumultuous time for the WWF. Kevin Nash and Scott Hall have both left for WCW, and they went out in infamous fashion with the Madison Square Garden Curtain Call.

This show is built around Shawn Michaels vs. The British Bulldog, with a storyline that Michaels tried to sleep with Bulldog's wife. That caused all sorts of problems backstage and on the homefront.

Plus we've got Steve Austin vs. Savio Vega in a Carribean Strap Match in what turned out to be Austin's big break and Goldust vs. The Undertaker in a Casket Match for the Intercontinental Championship.

This is a match that could have created a new style of professional wrestling but unfortunately ultimately turned out to be a one off.

And this show has all the trappings of the Russo show with insane gimmick matches such as a Blindfold Match and an Electrified Steel Cage Match.
