One night our family was watching Our Planet on Netflix. They highlighted a bird called the Laysan Albatross. When a chick is born, it doesn't move. It just sits and waits for its mother to come back and feed it. If she doesn't return, the chick dies. Not because it couldn't learn to find food. Because it won't move until someone brings it.
