It is said that our choices in life have made us who we are. My friend Dieter Jansen has written a great book - Decision Point - with stories of his life and decisions he made. He joins me on the podcast and explains how the book is structured and we discuss some of the questions he poses like:

To celebrate International Women's Day I have talked about the points in my life when being a woman affected my decisions. You may be making different ones and that is OK too.

Many of you know my story. You have been in my leadership groups or heard me speak somewhere about leadership.

But some of you are new, so I have recorded this to explain:

 - what I thought leaders looked like

 - how it became the most important topic for me, and

 - why I particularly focus on developing women leaders and the next Gen.

Having to adapt to online in 2020 brought with it greater accessibility. It meant that I could have a group (Aspiring Leaders) of young people who wanted to grow which ever country they were in and they brought their friends.

Ksenia is in that group and you can hear her passion for learning and self improvement in this podcast. She goes through things that she has done which helped keep her not only on track but moving ahead in 2020.

I talk about mindset and how it could be the right job and you don't realise it or you could be using your weaker skills to do it and it is always better to find a role that plays to your strengths.
