AJ and Rhys look at round 2 of the NRL season. This week both hosts are happy as their teams won this weekend. We look at how South Sydney have adjusted to Latrell Mitchell returning. Nat Butcher snapping Turbo’s ankles. The Tigers collapsing after a brilliant opening round performance as well as redemption for the Cowboys and Titans. AJ brags about his bold prediction as well as award our LOLCOW of the Week. Plus give our early analysis on the new rule changes. As well as a debate on obstruction after Graham Annesley’s briefing brought some debate.

AJ and Rhys review Round 1 of the NRL Telstra Premiership. We’ll deep dive every game look at the big moments and recap the news and injuries out of every game. Plenty of upsets this week and Rhys will get to show boat as the Broncos won, while AJ cries because the roosters did their usual Round 1 tricks and went MIA. We’ll look at how the Storm will likely cope with their horror run of injuries, plus dissect a crazy Sunday arvo try a thon from Commbank Stadium. We’ll also look at the new issue affecting the game, the cannonball tackle and what can the NRL do to cut the tackle out of the game. To cap it all off, we award our second LOLCOW of the Week, and AJ has a special and exciting announcement!

This episode AJ is joined by Rhys Sullivan to explode the flaws that the West Tigers football club have gone through in the last decade to see how we’ve gotten to the mess that the club is in at the moment. We look at the problems, attempted solutions that turned the club further backwards as well as the current mess the club is engulfed in. Enjoy the bumpy ride through TigerTown. AJ is joined by Rhys Sullivan (well for half of the program) and discuss the crazy filled Cronulla Sharks decade. From the supplements saga to a self reported Salary Cap breach, this had it all. Despite contrary belief, they are on the way up and will be rebuilding. However, you got to look back and see how you got here. A lot of work went into this and the lockdown enabled me to get out an episode before I undergo my HSC Trials and HSC.

This episode is some real fun to record. AJ and Rhys answer the age old questions. Why do teams collapse and fail on the Gold Coast. It’s a lovely place but teams and players never thrive up there. It’s parties and trouble all the way. The story of the Gold Coast is a must listen for league fans.
