Rhys and AJ review Magic Round. It was a week full of high octane footy, including Magic Round’s first ever golden point game. We’ll also recap Tank Bowl 8 between Canterbury and Newcastle and the news that Trent Barrett has left the gig, also AJ goes into a rant about Gus going into every club with the sole intention to destroy it. Rhys gets ecstatic over Brisbane’s reversal of fortunes and AJ gives us the lowdowns on a dramatic Roosters victory. Plus we’ll recap the other matches and award our LOLCOW(s) of the Week.

AJ and Rhys recap a dramatic ninth round of the season which includes Tank Bowl 7. We discuss every game and look at how the origin sides are stacking up. Plus the report that stunned AJ and Rhys live on air. AJ is struggling with covid at the moment so hence the coughing fits every few moments. Plus we award our LOLCOW of the Week.

AJ and Rhys debate the crazy weekend of rugby league. AJ goes into a fit of rage after the Roosters shock upset loss, one of his demands were met last week, will the other more pressing need follow. We debate the Jakob Arthur situation, is the criticism going too far? Will Newcastle turn around their woeful form, how much responsibility is on Adam O’Brien and Kalyn Ponga. We also look at the crisis in Super League when it comes to promotion and relegation as well as the junior scene with the SG Ball Cup Grand Final. We award our LOLCOW of the Week before Hux sends us into a fit of laughs with his rant of the week.

AJ and Rhys review an exciting 7th round of the NRL season. They’ll give their assessments on where their respective club sides are at (Roosters and Broncos) as well as look at the coaches that are well and truely on the hot seat. We’ll also look at the hot issue in the game of alleged big club bias which we thought we sorted out last week. But thanks to the Mole and Buzz we’re gonna do it again. Plus we’ll award our LOLCOW of the Week (although the description gives AJ’s away).

First of all, hope all my listeners had a wonderful Easter weekend with friends and family. On the plus side it was a great week of footy. AJ and Rhys will review every game including the miracle on Easter Monday. We’ll also look at the issues within the game and discuss the pros and cons of peaking too early in the season and are teams timing their runs perfectly.
