Canada’s immigration system used to make sense - when we had gaps in the labour market we would go and find people and bring them here. Now we are welcoming anyone and everyone with no rhyme or reason. As a result we have people who arrive in Canada and struggle as we are ill- equipped to welcome so many new Canadians. We are at the point where some immigrants are regretting emigrating to Canada - Why has this occurred? Dan McTeague is a former Liberal MP - he joins Stephen LeDrew for Three Minutes.

Imagine being so unimpressed with the state of affairs in Ottawa you start your own political party to offer a fresh, no-nonsense alternative to sensible Canadians. This is no small feat - but that’s exactly what Brad Harness has done. If all goes according to plan the Dominion Party of Canada will be on the ballot for the next federal election. He joins Stephen LeDrew to discuss how this party has come to be.

NDP politicians from coast to coast to coast have abandoned the Jewish community in Canada. This is a hard about-face for a party that historically has had Jewish leadership. In Hamilton, MP Matthew Green is posting content anyone would consider to be pro-Hamas. Provincially, MPP Sarah Jama was kicked out of the NDP caucus for supporting Hamas. Is this spelling the end of the NDP as we know it in Canada? Michael Diamond is the founder of the Upstream group - he joins Stephen LeDrew for Three Minutes.
