Hustler is one of those unique words where the context matters. We like people who are willing to work hard, sacrifice for a better life. Those are good hustlers.

But there are the bad ones who give hustling a bad name. They are not admirable, and look for anything other than grinding to rise.

You might know a street hustler; the street-corner, three-card monte, watch-the-pea-under-the-shell kind. The hustle that isn’t about building something, but who is about getting over.

That kind of hustling is what you do when you know, deep in your gut you don’t have skills. And if you have achieved without skills, you know that you don’t actually deserve what you have, and you’re one wrong move away from everyone else figuring it out.
