Episode 1 - Leaving the Law after 1l Year
On Episode 1 of Leaving the Law, I’ll be interviewing ex-law student Meagan about her reasons for attending law school, and why she left after her 1L year. She’ll share how she managed to cover the costs of her legal education, and what the law school experience was like. This video should help provide pre-law students with a better understanding of the legal process, and help them decide whether law school is right for them. This is part one of a three-part series called Leaving the Law. Be sure to check back for parts two and three, where ex-practicing attorneys discuss their journeys and why they left the legal field. What led them to attend law school in the first place? What sparked their desire to become attorneys, and what eventually made them leave the legal field behind for good?
