Lately with terms like Fake News, Media Bias, liberal, and conservative media; the news has really been getting a bad rap. Is it warranted? Is there a more sinister plot to manipulate the population? Is there more going on behind the scenes that we don't see or understand? So many questions, but few answers. Well in this episode Legin sits down with Wavy News 10 Anchor Katie Collett, who not only gives us answers but also a look behind the broadcasting curtain. That's about all the teaser we can give you here but the rest of the secrets are right behind that play button! Enjoy the season 3 finale episode. The story that matters here are the stories being told the community.
In this selfish society of today, many of us tend to think about the home team first, the folks who we relate to the most second, and as for the rest you're on your own! On this episode of The Legin Podcast we dive into why that way of thinking is terrible for personal progress and the growth of humanity as a whole. We need each other much more than we realize and since this season is about how your story matters, we'll also get into how our stories weave together collectively to create something beautiful! Tune in and tell a friend.... The Legin Podcast episode 9 is up!
It was once said that whoever controls the media, controls the mind. Well I'm not sure who exactly is running the internet these days but they definitely keep our brains overly occupied. Though there are many perks to it, there's also a downside when it comes to the fire feeding nature of the algorithm. Your favorite social media site will serve up a constant flow of whatever you're into; good, bad, or indifferent. If you're not careful it can cause a skewed idea of reality and the World around us. This leading to division and the belief that anyone who thinks differently may be your enemy. From race, health, politics, to activism and so much more; This episode crawls down that rabbit hole of digital narratives, and group think scenarios that could damage the current way we see people and see life itself. Brace yourself for Episode 8 of The Legin Podcast "Eaten by the Algorithm"
So we interrupt our regularly scheduled programming for a super dope live show you probably should have come to; even if you had to catch a flight, cause it was seriously that amazing. But if for some odd reason you didn't make it, we were nice enough to film this blessing of a bonus episode for you and your family to enjoy. Great conversation from the usual suspects of The Legin Podcast but the input and testomonies from the crowd really made this event a night to remember. Insight, substance, and many seeds planted. Click play, enjoy, and send us any input you'd like to add to the conversation. The Legin Podcast is at it again
Sooo we're back!! And in this episode we continue the conversation of The Art of Story Telling. In the last episode you heard why it's important to tell your story and why you should share your testimony of escape, freedom, or encouragement that everything is going to be alright. But on the flipside, we all know that person who will talk you to death and resuscitate you back to life only to continue the long winded conversation. (Don't be that person). We also may have met someone who makes the conversation wierd in delivery. (Definitely don't be that person either). SO in episode 6 we decided to take a deep dive into HOW to tell your story. Much needed content here for any and everyone with the gift of speech, so TUNE IN AND TELL A FRIEND! The Legin Podcast is Back!
So we're a lil older than we used to be but the beautiful thing about aging is the wisdom gained from the experiences life has brought our way. With that comes stories to tell and a generation gap to fill with the information. The biggest issue is how do we deliver these valuable stories and testimonies? In this episode we not only get into why iron sharpens iron but how do we share our stories. Why we need each other and why that infinite catalogs of personal experiences along the way are vital to share and help save others from the past problems we've once faced and got through. Watch share and spread the word! The Legin Pocast is back with another banger
If you were to judge marriage by "The Culture", red pill podcasts, and what is shown on prime time television, "happily ever after" is just another myth. From sitcoms that portray the marriage bed like a game of musical chairs, to your favorite influencer saying to their many followers that bank and body count is much more respectable than commitment. The outlook seems gloomy indeed for marriage in 2023. But is that reality? Can it actually work? If so how? As three very grown HAPPILY married men; we here at The Legin Podcast are proof that it can. Though divorce is at an all time high, there are plenty of us who truly enjoy their marriage and fight to keep the love strong. Through the ups and downs, victories, set backs, and a lil self sabotage...Today we tell the good, bad, and indifferent about our relationships and how we keep the love flowing through it all

Once upon a time you could turn on your television and find countless shows about positive lifestyles and wholesome families. The radio played music that advocated knowledge, intellect, and uplifting the people. What happened?? These days Music and Media seem to be celebrating our downfall. Is our music, social media alghorithms, and entertainment guiding us in the wrong direction? Are the narratives and stories told in rap songs of today part of the problem or just harmless entertainment and forms of expression. Is art imitating life or Life imitating art? Have we become hypocrytes who celebrate what we say we despise and becoming an accomplice in our own demise?
In this episode we'll tackle these questions and have real conversation about the stories and narratives pushed through entertainment today. Mental warfare and a battle for the mind or free speech and harmless entertainment? Let's talk about it on todays episode of The Legin Podcast.
