We're talking Canadian artists on the rise so it's finally an episode where we won't mention T Swift, right? Sigh, we tried. Anyhoo, we start off with our regular 'Banter & Bullshit' in which Priya reveals she's been seeing a fella who literally wears a feather in his cap. But enough about Yankee Doodle, this is our Canada Day episode! Let's see if you know any of the Canadian artists that we think are ready to make the leap to the big time! 

It's our second, annual road trip and this year, shocker of shockers, Priya learns that Mike is GAY! But wheeeee--it's his birthday week and since it’s also Pride parade week, what else would we be talking about but big ole gay anthems?! So let's celebrate Mike and his self-described 'almost 60 era' in all his rainbow glory! Age is just a number folks, and our juvenile humour proves it.

Concerts, karaoke, our new BF, 'Claude', and our second annual road trip. That's what's happening this week folks. Plus, Mike and Priya discuss her possible ADD/ADHD diagnosis and whether that puts her into the 'dingdong' or 'brilliant' category. Priya pulls Mike out from the rock he's been under and explains what 'The Mandalorian & Grogu' is, as well as defining what the term 'GOAT' means. Mike won't talk about his previous sexual experience because mum's the word...literally! AND we discuss the at-the-time-upcoming Kalan concert. Then we dive into the episode’s main topic: artists we just can’t find love for and some surprising research about why some people hate certain music. The episode turns into a bit of a therapy sesh but Mike CLEARLY does NOT like being therapized!

Ahhh life. One door (of friendship) opens and another closes. How do we hold onto the good memories when friends come and go? Life updates: Priya spent a whirlwind two weeks in NYC while Mike went shoe shopping. Sex faces, fashion choices and musical bingo for seniors (for seniors: musical bingo not the sex faces) are on the table as Priya gets tipsy chugging her drink on air. Then we chat about how 'kids these days' are bringing back music from days (and decades) gone by.
