We believe that God will honor our fasting and prayer with an awakening in the heart, mind and soul of every person who opens themselves to God. We all believe that prayer changes things. Today we are focusing on Awakening Agreement. This is a powerful method of prayer.

Awakening Abandonment is an “I surrender all” message, a reminder and motivation to everyone that we belong to Jesus, we have been bought with a price and our life belongs to God. Transformation from new believer to fully devoted follower, as with anything, takes discipline.

To be awakened is to be alert, to come to full attention and to be aware of all that God is doing and desires to do in your life. Awakening alignment is a coming to grips with anything that has destroyed the alignment of the believer to God, His Word and His principles.

In this series “Awakening: Pursuing a New Level of Passion for God” the believer can cultivate a deeper longing for God while fasting and praying. Prayer and fasting is defined as voluntarily going without food in order to focus on prayer and fellowship with God. When prayer and fasting are combined, there is a special double-portion power created. This is simply one biblical way to force ourselves to focus and rely on God for His strength, provision and wisdom.

Peter now encourages us to aim at becoming fruitful disciples of Christ. We have the divine nature, the divine promises, and the divine power. We make every effort to live like Jesus and share His love. Now Peter says these things should be in us and abound. We now need the exceed ticket.
