John now opens a new section of his epistle by reminding his readers of their identity in Christ. Because they were genuine members of God’s family, they could successfully cope with the spiritual dangers around them. In this section, John unlocks the key for all believers to overcome and stay the course with power. It’s in the word “anointing.”

This is the first message in a series on the book of 1 John, written by the Apostle John. Dynamic Christians are finding that daily study of God’s word allows His Spirit to do in them what He wishes to communicate through them to others.

Giving your life for the sake of annother is worth it! Pastor Detra Carter encourages mothers to not give up as she speaks about her own experience with motherhood.

When you dream at night, isn’t it usually an “unrealistic, out of the ordinary” type of dream? What about when you daydream? God not only wants you to dream, He wants you to know that He has big dreams for you! And His dreams are not the reachable kind. No one ever accomplished anything big without first dreaming BIG about it.

Have you ever been at your desk, or at the kitchen table, and all of a sudden you wake up from a day-dream to realize you’ve been daydreaming for quite some time? And it made you happy? But you then tell yourself, “back to life, back to reality!” What keeps you from accomplishing your dreams? Is it possible that the obstacles you face are too big for God; or just too big for you?

Who was he? Who was this Judas Iscariot? Well we don’t really know all that much about him. From the scriptures we discover that he was appointed treasurer of the twelve and that he became a thief, stealing from that very same treasury. But what would compel a man to sentence his closest friend to one of the most horrible deaths imaginable?

The gospel is mind-boggling, surprising and too good to be true. God’s total unconditional love is tough for us to embrace and believe. But it is true. Jesus shouts it from the Cross, “Father forgive them!” In His worst hour, our greatest gift is given: forgiveness through His blood. . The gospel is God forgiving you! The gospel is God forgiving you. Think about this: you can be forgiven and forgiven and forgiven. It never stops!
